Dealers who colour outside the lines...

Winnie and Tulula's Antique Mall will officially open Saturday, June 13, 2009 @ 11:00 am. We will have our grand opening that day and you will be able to walk thru and see all the dealers that will be a part of this new mall. We are located at 119 E. Tyler Street in Athens Texas, call 903.677.6868 or email gloria@sweetpeacollection.com for more information.

The feel for this shop will be eclectic..eccentric..stylish... not your typical antique mall. There are some fabulous dealers, designers and stylists that are taking up residence here and I promise you won't want to miss opening day. Make plans to stop by for a glass of wine or a cup of punch. Stroll thru each of their open airy boutiques, packed with treasures. Here's a preview of some of the fabulous dealers you'll find:

Debbie of Talking Trash has a unique look she likes to call "a vintage, rustic, glam look that is priced to sell. Fun pieces for fun people." Her logo is "Come for the Junk, Stay for the Party". Selling a Dream, one piece at a time.

Theresa of Garden Antqs Vintage is known for her look to be a bit Frenchy with some Country and Cottage thrown into the mix, with just enough rusty, crusty, peely and gardening items to make your home have the feel you are looking for. When she's not at Winnie and Tulula's, you can find her at one of the many Texas Antique Shows offered throughout the year. Check her blog for her upcoming events.

Maggie of The Veranda is known for her Vintage Garden*Paris Chic*Romantic Cottage and "The Looks you Love" style.

Lillie of The Junk Palace is famous for her Shabby European elegance that meets rusty chic. She carries French style furniture and accessories, with all things for your shabby garden, including furniture, frames, mirrors and the like.

Donna Rinn and Rhonda Wilcox of Curious Goods are known for their quirky collection of vintage items. It's a place to find the unusual, one of a kind treasures that make you stop and take a second look. Many of the items you will find here have been re-purposed from their original form and used to create new and exciting home and garden decor, jewelry, original art and the like.

Pat and Amy Williams are like peas and carrots, a mother and daughter who simply enhance one another's natural and diverse talents. Together this twin dish is hard at work creating and offering pieces well worth your travel to Winnie and Tulula's. Pat (the mother) has an artful eye, furniture restorer, wood worker and painter, multi-talented, while her daughter Amy is a self taught painter specializing in hand painted furniture, stemware, and canvas.

Liz Caudle's simplistic living spills over into the backyard, hollyhocks and Victorian Ladies stroll through the swaying moss hanging from the cypresses is how her style is known for. You can browse thru vintage picturesque statues, concrete bird births and artful garden signs and become inspired to reinvent your concept of design following a soul searching meander thru her "Monochromatic Home".

Virgins, Saints and Sinners is the combined effort and creative talents of owners Tina Bordelon and Donna Fussell. Both women have a love of all things vintage and beautiful as well as decorating with their talents, sense of style, interests, faith and sense of humor. The two women set out to redefine the giftware and apparel industry’s concepts using humor and life experience to touch the lives of many.

Gloria of Sweet Pea Collection ~ Let us help you transform your nest ~ pour a cup of tea or a glass of wine And stroll thru our online pages or come into our shop and see the new French Laundry Collection we now have.
